The ServiceNow training and certification department has released their newest Instructor-Led to On Demand conversion this week with Event Management Fundamentals On Demand. This 9-hour on demand training is based on the two-day Event Management Fundamentals course and provides the latest Event Management lecture including technical exercises to help students gain hands-on experience with Event Management. Participants will receive their own ServiceNow instance and Windows server that will allow the student to go through the hands-on exercises provided in the lab guide.
Designed for System Administrators and Implementers this course will teach you how to Describe the capabilities and benefits of ITOM Health Event Management and how it fits into the ITOM application suite. You will learn to navigate key Event Management application components (e.g., operator workspace, dashboards, alert intelligence). Upon course completion, you’ll understand how to capture and record events, and generate meaningful alerts from events. Learn how to create actionable tasks, such as incidents, from alerts and use Agent Client Collector monitoring.

A lab guide with step-by-step instructions on performing the labs in the provided training instance is provided.
