On Demand Course Fees

These past few days, I noticed that all On-Demand courses have become free.

First of all, I fully support this change, as it undoubtedly provides great convenience for those who want to learn ServiceNow.

However, I also feel a bit troubled because I had just purchased three On-Demand courses two months ago, spending a total of $1,650.

Turning a paid service into a free one all of a sudden seems somewhat unfair to those who have already paid for it. Is there any compensation plan for these individuals?

Additionally, if I were to purchase a ServiceNow license in the future, should I also be concerned that the services I pay for might depreciate or even become free after a certain period?

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could clarify my concerns.

Hi @MoXiaosang

I can appreciate your frustration. The reality is there will always be a group of people who find themselves in your position when this type of change occurs. I suggest you open a support case via ServiceNow Learning and put your case for a refund - it's worth a try.

Is there a chance ServiceNow will make a similar change regarding their subscription pricing? Absolutely not. That would upend their entire business model. I'm not sure if you're aware, but most ServiceNow customers currently pay over $500k/year in subscription fees and around a third pay over $1m/year.
