Hello, am working on becoming an associate systems admin, and I just finished all the trainings and now just need to take the mainline exam. So I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to prepare for the exam, and any input would be greatly appreciated. -Patrick

I would say follow the exam Blueprint below and make yourself notes on any key important exam topics highlighted through the course by reviewing the modules/domains again. And you can also try testing your knowledge through any sample assessments available on any public platforms which offer them for free. Flash cards also help you keep in the game by quizzing or quick self-reviews. It is not hard to pass the exam if you can dedicate good time to go through the course and make some notes. I used to prefer this method over any other sources in my early days and it has greatly helped me build my knowledge.

The CSA exam blueprint focuses on the following key domains:

  1. Platform Overview and Navigation â€“ 7%

  2. Instance Configuration â€“ 11%

  3. Collaboration â€“ 20%

  4. Database Administration â€“ 30%

  5. Self-Service & Process Automation â€“ 20%

  6. Introduction to Development â€“ 10%

Admin Fundamentals Ebook is the Key Resource!

You can also have some practice tests which are available online but don't rely on them and remember some Ques/Ans can be incorrect online.

In Addition to that, Check this detailed BluePrint

Accept the solution and mark as helpful if it does, to benefit future readers.

Thanks, and by the eBook, do you mean the one that you use for the course itself?
