Hi @getmekams ,

Both amounts are technically correct, but one is the Base Price and the other is the Total Price including Tax.

Since you are taking the exam from Bangalore, you are subject to the India GST (Goods and Services Tax), which applies to digital services and certifications.

The Math:

  • Exam Base Fee: $300

  • India GST (18%): $54 (18% of 300 is 54)

  • Total Payable: $354

Pearson VUE (the exam provider) calculates the tax automatically based on your billing address during checkout. So, the $354 charge is correct and mandatory unless you have a 100% discount voucher.

Tip: If you work for a ServiceNow Partner or Customer, check if your company can provide a voucher. Vouchers typically cover the full cost, including the tax component.

If this clarifies the extra charge, please mark it as Accepted Solution.

Best regards,
Brandão.

Hi @Mark Manders,

Force of habit, I forgot that detail. Thank you very much for the correction!

Yes, that’s correct — base price plus 18% tax.
