I am currently considering taking the CIS-FSM and CIS-CSM exams soon. Could you advise me on how their difficulty compares to the CSA exam?

Hi @AmyChung

Greetings!!

Exam will be same as CSA but this time it will be tricky. Reason begin there is alot to cover and learn. So follow only e book as it is best source of knowledge and source of truth. Full paper will be from ebook only. Read line by line and word by word.

Hello @AmyChung ,

I hope you have already passed CIS-FSM exam but I am still replying over this post so that it helps other community members.

I recently attempted the Certified Implementation Specialist Exam in Field Service Management ( CIS - FSM ). Here are my suggestions/tips for people who are about to attempt ServiceNow's CIS - FSM exam.

Topics covered in Exam -
• FSM Fundamentals (20-25 questions)
• Dynamic Scheduling (8-10 questions)
• Schedule Optimization Implementation (3-4 questions)
• FSM Roles (2-3 questions) - Roles installed with Field Service Management
• FSM Properties (1 question) - Properties installed with Field Service Management
• Planned Maintenance (2-3 questions)
• Territory Planning (2-3 questions)
• Dispatcher Workspace (2-3 questions)
• Resource Scheduling (1-2 questions) - Equipment instance & category
• Possible Integrations with FSM (2-3 questions) - CSM/SPM, Google Maps API - Geo Location, etc. (Which Email notifications which gets active on installing CSM along-with FSM?)
• Domain Separation (1 question)
• Targeted Communication (1-2 questions)
• Field Service Contractor Management (1 questions)

Courses - I followed official Exam Blueprint for CIS-FSM and hence, found these courses helpful during my exam -
• FSM Fundamentals (On-Demand) (MUST Do)
• FSM Implementation (Instructor Led) - This course needs to be completed for Voucher issuance but I felt that this course does not give in-depth knowledge. (It covers Targeted communication, dynamic scheduling & planned maintenance but better to do individual 1 hour course on these topics to get better understanding). I had the similar feeling while preparing for CIS-CSM (Customer Service Management). Fundamentals course gives in-depth knowledge than an Implementation course.
• FSM Dynamic Scheduling Essentials (MUST Do)
• Planned Maintenance for FSM
• Field Service Management (FSM) Extras - Do all short associated courses (e.g. Field Service Territory Planning and Capacity Management Implementation, contract management, etc.)
I would recommend completing these official now Learning courses at least once. It helped me in passing this certification exam. Better not to rely on exam dumps.

For practice, you can choose to follow ExamTopics OR Quizlet.

Hope it helps.

Best Regards,
Shubham

Found this after I passed my exam, and it's spot on.

to add to it - Study about Intraday Scheduling and Intelligent task recommendation. 1 question came from each in the FSM exam
