The best tip I can give from answering this question for a decade:
- ignore brain dumps and exam "prep" sites.
The ecosystem needs *CAPABLE BUILDERS*. It has more than enough 'exam studiers' who couldn't help customers on platform to save their lives. The CSA exam (once again) is becoming a byword for pretenders.
So, knowing that the ecosystem wants CAPABLE BUILDERS, and the exam is trying to test for that, the ONLY thing you should be doing for prep is *BUILDING* on the platform.
Take every component you've learned via your course and try to build something with it. Doesn't have to make sense... it just has to utilize the tool.
The exam is wall-to-wall questions who's answer you will know FOREVER if you had only used the component once in your life.
Remember. Every quizlet, every exam cram site, every exam braindump is an act of hatred against ServiceNow customers.

That's because you're not meant to study from a book.
You're meant to be building on the platform.

Thanks, Robert. I appreciate your comment earlier in this thread and can understand your perspective and agree for those developing on the platform in their day-to-day. I'm required by my employer to take/pass the CSA. I won't be developing in my role as a technical writer, but I do need to understand the platform better than I do today and pass the exam. I've used SN for the last 2.5 years and managed KBs, but that's not enough. I love the idea of building apps in my dev instance; I'd like the walk throughs so that I learn correctly vs. stumbling around.
The fundamentals course only skims the surface. I have questions and taking the course on demand I don't have the luxury of asking an instructor. For example, the course has you perform a form configuration and through this process, change the view. It doesn't though cover how to make the form views accessible to users. I can easily walk through the steps to complete the assignment, but I want to understand the bigger picture and how it would be done in a real-world environment. I was hopeful the book might provide more of that type of information. If not, and you have a suggested reference, I'd love to get your recommendation(s).

Hello @Kareem Abdelkad ,
I know your post is over six months old now, but I wanted to take the time to congratulate you on achieving your certification. Congratulations!
I'm in the same boat as you were six + months ago, currently working through the capstone project and working towards the certification. Its inspiring to see other people able to achieve it.
@Uncle Rob That is some amazing advice, I'm happy I came across this post.
