Unable to register for Certified Implementation Specialist - Data Foundations exam

Hi All,

I am CSA-ITSM certified and need to register for "Certified Implementation Specialist - Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) (CIS-DF (CMDB and CSDM))". When i am trying to register for the same, there is a button "Resume" comes up and when i am clicking on that, nothing happen. I tried in different browsers and incognito mode as well but the same issue.

If anyone can help me on this, it will be grateful. Thank you.

Hi,

I would suggest a few things to try before escalating:

1. Double‑check prerequisites

   • Go to ServiceNow University → My Exams and confirm all required courses show as Completed (not 99%).
   • Open the prerequisite course once and make sure every module/video is fully completed.

2. Check for pending Terms & Conditions

   • Open the exam from My Exams and scroll carefully, sometimes there’s a T&C or acknowledgement checkbox that must be accepted before registration can proceed.

3. Try an alternate access path

   • Instead of clicking Resume, search for “CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM)” directly in ServiceNow University and open the exam overview page, then select Register from there.

4. Raise a ServiceNow University support case

   • If the button still does nothing, it’s likely a backend registration state issue.
   • Log a case via the ServiceNow University Help Center and include a screenshot of the Resume button issue. Support can reset this on their side.

Hope this helps, support should be able to resolve it quickly once they check your exam record if you need to escalate.

The screenshot talks about the course , look like you did not enrolled for course and now you need to enroll first and then after that you can register for exam. Pleased proceed by enrolling in the course
