What is the Prerequisite for ServiceNow CAD certification

Hi All,

I want to take ServiceNow CAD (Certified of Application Development), I completed "Application Development Fundamentals" course and got the Voucher but I don't have CSA certificate, my CSA certificate was expired in Feb 2024. My question is I'm I eligible to write CAD exam?

Hi @Jyothsna5 ,

Only Welcoem to ServiceNow + Scripting Fundamentals and Application Development fundamentals are required. You are eligible even without CSA.

Hi @Jyothsna5 ,

Yes, you are eligible to sit for the Certified Application Developer exam even if your Certified System Administrator credential has expired. The CSA is not a hard prerequisite.

Prerequisites for CAD:

You must complete the following training to receive a voucher for the CAD exam:

Welcome to ServiceNow

Application Development Fundamentals
Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals

Hi @Jyothsna5 ,

Yes, you are eligible to take the CAD. There is no mandatory prerequisite to take the CSA prior to the CAD.
