I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:
- There is no support available for PDI.
- If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
- You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.
There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

Hi @AlusineC
- You are likely allowed a maximum of 2 running instances across all courses.
- Terminate Other Instances: Go to your Now Learning Dashboard and terminate any active lab instances for other courses that you are not actively focusing on to free up the slot
- Once a lab instance is marked as Terminated, it cannot be restored or reactivated. Any data or configurations stored in that instance are no longer accessible.
- To continue with the course, you’ll need to request a new lab instance and proceed using the newly created environment.
If it is you lab instance in Servicenow University and if you are unable to find in which other 2 course - you already requested lab instance, You can take Now learning support help.
Raise a case to Now Learning support.
