Q: Why did you move to a tiered pricing structure for SNUG sponsorships?
A: We wanted to eliminate the need for partners to pay actual event expenses as they are
often unpredictable and therefore difficult to forecast and manage. With this model, the
sponsorship cost is predictable and standardized.

Q: How do I find out the sponsorship fees?
A: They are listed in the SNUG Sponsorship Eligibility, Guidelines, and Best Practices on the
partner portal. They are also in the submission page on the partner portal. When you select
the SNUG you want to submit an application for, the corresponding Tier and Price will show.

Q: What is the process for applying to sponsor a SNUG meeting?
A: Visit the partner portal under marketing and select Submit New SNUG Sponsor
Application to fill out the request for sponsorship.

Q: If I applied to sponsor a SNUG event and change my mind, what are my options to
cancel?
A: You can view all your submissions in the partner portal by going to marketing and clicking
All SNUG Applications. At any time prior to being approved for sponsorship, you can
change the status of the submission from Pending to Withdrawn.

Q: If I am selected, and I have a conflict, what should I do?
A: Once you receive the approval email, you have 24 hours to contact the ServiceNow
Field Marketing Manager to discuss potential options. If we are unable to secure another
partner sponsor, you will be responsible for the sponsorship fee.

Q: How far in advance do you plan SNUG meetings (date/location)?
A: We typically plan SNUG meetings 60-90 days in advance.

Q: How do I improve my chances of getting selected to sponsor an event?
A: The submissions that include a customer co-presenter are highly rated as well as those
with a compelling case study.

Q: Can I market my sponsorship ahead of the event?
A: YES! We encourage you to invite your customers to attend! Just send them the link to the
registration page! The more the merrier!

Q: How do I take full advantage of my sponsorship?
A: Visit the partner portal to download the SNUG Sponsorship Eligibility, Guidelines, and Best
Practices.

Q: Do I get a list of attendees?
A: No, our privacy policy prohibits us from sharing names or contact information. You can,
however, collect names at the event by having a raffle and collecting business cards.

Q: Is the cost for “optional” expenses i.e.: raffle prize(s) included in the sponsorship fee?
A: No, the costs for optional participation expenses are not included and should be
considered and planned for by the sponsor partner.

Q: The application states that the presentation can be either a case study or joint customer
presentation. Does the customer have to be present?
A: No, but presentations with the customer present are many times more compelling.

Q: Do I have to add the complete abstract ahead of time or can I update the abstract
closer to the date of the SNUG?
A: You can update an abstract at any time. The ServiceNow team typically reviews them at
the beginning of the SNUG event planning process.
