Has anyone ever manually removed a plugin? I can't find any information on this and I really need to be able to back a couple of them out of my system. I'd be grateful for any tips, informaiton, or wisdom you may have.
Also, if you could suggest the correct category to post this in the community that would be helpful. After 4 years, I still feel like a total noob!

Thanks, but the plugins I need to remove don't have an uninstall option.

If you don't see uninstall UI action for plugin, it can't be inactivated (unless you zBoot -reset- it).
If zBooting is not an option, your other option of course will be to modify-hide-alter any logic or screen activated by the plugin that could be impacting your users or the instance itself.
Here goes some related links that will be helpful on some examples for specific scenarios faced by others before:
Possible to deactivate a plugin?

Hello Timothy,
You cannot disable the plugin once it is activated on your instance. However, you can edit the respective application menu and make the active to false so that it won't show under left navigation filter.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
