I just got Academy upgraded and running on Eureka. I was wondering if anyone else in our community has upgraded yet. If so how was the new UI received? What new features do you like best? And did you have any complications upgrading?
To answer my own questions Visual Task Boards have finally brought the rest of the IT groups together. I love them! They're awesome. The upgrade went as smooth as butter, and the only hang up I noticed was that you may need to have some users clear their browser history to get the new UI to apply, but hey, when does a browser not need to be cleared right?

So my company is in the process of implementing ServiceNow. The system admins were trained on dublin and our project manager just made the switch to eureka for all of our environments. Not having an indepth knowledge of ServiceNow yet it does not seem that different then what I was trained on.
I do have a follow up question about patches and hot fixes, does anyone apply thoes right away or do you only apply them when there are issues?

Hey Darcy,
This is in regard to your question about patching and hot fixes.
Service-Now should be no different than any other system. If there is a need for the patch/hot-fix, do it. Otherwise, follow your company's internal process for patching.
Our plan right now is to apply the patches quarterly.
I do think if you fall too far behind in your upgrades, you'll lose some support until you are upgraded. (i.e. if your instance is still on Aspen, you may need to upgrade to a more recent version before support will help you out). Someone feel free to correct me there.
