Vaccine Administration Management (VAM) relies on a lot of components from Customer Service Management (CSM) to provide vaccine recipients with the seamless user experience that existing users of the Now Platform are already accustomed to.
With that being said, there are a few dependencies that must be considered when installing VAM into your sub-Prod/Prod or PDI instance.
1. [All instance types] Your instance must be on Paris Patch 6.
If you are not sure what version and patch your instance is running on, check out your instance's "Stats" module for more information.
Note: Support for Quebec will be released alongside VAM version 4, on 3/11/2021.
2. [All instance types] You must activate the following plugins:
- Customer Service (com.sn_customerservice)

- This will give VAM the ability to leverage out of the box existing CSM capabilities.
- Appointment Booking (com.snc.appointment_booking)

- This will allow vaccine recipients to book appointments through the VAM User Portal.
- Consumer Service Portal (com.glide.service-portal.consumer-portal)

- This will enable vaccine recipients to self-register for an account on the VAM User Portal.
3. [Production] Before moving to a Production instance, ensure you have completed the following steps:
- Verify you have the proper license(s). If you are unsure if your organization has the proper license(s), please check with your Account Executive before attempting to move your VAM configurations to production.
- If setting up on a separate production instance, request the Customer Service (com.sn_customerservice) plugin to be activated from within HI. Do not attempt to activate this plugin through the store/self-service.
- Ensure the CLE/KMF plugins are installed and activated as required to maintain compliance with any relevant data privacy regulations.
