Can Standard Change Definition like Record producer or catalog item be made visible in Service Portal. If Yes How? As it is not visible now?

Yes, Standard Change definitions created through record producers  can be displayed in the ServiceNow Service Portal.

By configuring them within the Service Catalog, users can easily access and submit pre-approved change requests.

 

  • Use a record producer to gather information and create a change ticket directly from the portal.
  • Ensure Record Producer is active and added to the relevant Catalog and Category.
  • Ensure the User Criteria on the catalog item does not exclude the intended users.
  • To make them available to public users, create a User Criteria with a Public Role and apply it to the Catalog Item
