Community Clean up:

No plastic garbage bags to fill up here, we're talking about a long overdue tidy-up of the old content on these pages. Yes, there was a lot of old content that was not really relevant any longer, but there was also an issue with the migration to the new community platform which mucked up the posting dates, so it was all out of order - We figured it wouldn't hurt to do a hefty purge and start with a clean and shiny Perth Community area again.

ExchangeNow Community:

The ExchangeNow community has been running along nicely over the last few years and is still full swing for 2023 too. Keep an eye on their homepage and make sure you are signed up on their mailing list for any announcements.

The main site can be found here:

and you can also jump straight the mailing list signup page here

Please note, the ExchangeNow community is not directly related to these Community SNUG pages and is setup and managed by different people. We do, however, try to work collaboratively and support and promote each other.

So why should you sign up to either or both of these? Well.... ExchangeNow is run by the local ServiceNow community, for the community. Its your user group and therefore it's your support and contribution that makes it a success. If you have some successes or learnings to share, please get in touch with the team via their site.

This newly refreshed ServiceNow Community, will be the area for all things from ServiceNow. You'll see information about upcoming webinars, events, tours and other resources that we feel are useful and informative. You can also post here with questions and requests or start your own discussions too.

Community Profiles & Settings:

While a lot of the older preferences and settings on your community profile were transferred across, its worth checking again and also seeing if there are new things you might like to configure. New platform, New options 🙂

It's also worth check your notifications are turned on, so that you get notified of any new posts. (You can tailor the settings under your profile icon [top right] click the 'My Subscriptions' menu item, then the 'Notification Settings' tab)

With Profile Names, I would encourage you to select something that somewhat resembles your real name in order to help others know who you are. You are likely to get a better response to your questions if you are known as something more realistic than ‘furrytiger123’ 😉 A profile photo (of yourself) also goes a long way.

Thats all for now. Please keep an eye on your notifications for future updates on the things to come in 2023. Also feel free to add your comments or suggestions below for things you'd like to see added
