The Australia release introduces enhanced protections for read‑only fields across the ServiceNow AI Platform®. These changes include a new “read_only_option” field with granular control levels, including “strict_read_only” and “client_script_modifiable". The changes occur in the back end and maintain
backward‑compatible behavior. This update helps strengthen your instance security while preserving the flexibility you need. Refer to KB2718122 for additional technical details on how to identify affected fields and adjust their settings. For more information about granular read-only security options, see Configuring read-only security options.

- Fulfill evidence requests through the Asset Response Guided Experience
- Fulfill and respond to evidence requests for your financial regulatory audit engagements by using the Asset Response Guided Experience. It provides step-by-step guidance on generating, reviewing, and submitting the required
evidence for each evidence request. You can also create remediation rules and corresponding remediation tasks to identify and resolve any gaps that are discovered through your evidence.
- Manage financial regulatory audit engagements and evidence requests in the Audit Workspace
- Enable your compliance managers and asset managers to collaborate in managing the financial regulatory audit engagement process and requesting corresponding evidence from asset teams through the Audit Workspace in the ServiceNow®

evidence to formulate audit opinions and complete these engagements.
- Streamline the fulfillment of evidence requests by using financial regulatory context in the Audit Workspace
- Associate your evidence requests with important financial regulatory requirements and guidelines, such as key financial standards from the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), by leveraging the Audit Workspace in the ServiceNow
Audit Management application. By aligning each request with the relevant requirements and guidelines, you can help your asset managers better understand the compliance obligations that are associated with the
requests. They can then use this information to fulfill each request more accurately and efficiently.

information to help plan for and complete other in-progress evidence requests so that you can improve your operational efficiency.
- Track impacted records that require remediation
- Use the Impacted Records related list in your remediation tasks to track and take any necessary actions on the impacted records, including asset and configuration item (CI) records, that are associated with each task. These
remediation tasks are automatically generated based on the remediation rules that you define during evidence request fulfillment.
