    Contract amendments

    Contract amendments enable you to formally change, add, or remove terms in an existing contract without replacing the entire agreement. The Amendment feature enhances contract lifecycle management by enabling you to initiate, track, and finalize amendments to existing contracts with audit trail.

    A new field, Request type, has been added to clearly distinguish between contract and amendment requests.

    Each amendment is linked to its parent contract, and you can easily view the amendment history directly from the contract request. Additionally, a record producer is available in the base system, allowing you to submit and monitor amendment requests efficiently.

    The following related lists are now available within the contract repository record to provide amendment details:
    • Contract Requests: Displays all contract and amendment requests associated with the contract.
    • Amendment Field Changes: Shows a detailed log of all field changes made through amendments, enabling easy tracking of modifications over time.
    • Contract Documents: Provides access to all documents related to the contract, including those generated or updated as part of amendment processes. The signed contract and its amendment documents are stored in a centralized repository under the parent contract for easy access and managing all related documents from a single location.
