Important information for upgrading Subscription Management to Australia

Before you upgrade to Australia, review these pre- and post-upgrade tasks and complete the tasks as needed.

Zurich	Subscription Management version 5.0 is active by default on all instances of the Zurich release. Update to Subscription Management version 6.1 or later to use the latest features. For more information about updating Subscription Management, see Update an app or plugin.
Australia	Subscription Management version 6.1 is active by default on all instances of the Australia release. Update to Subscription Management version 6.1 or later to use the latest features. For more information about updating Subscription Management, see Update an app or plugin.

Monitor cloud capacity Monitor cloud capacity and track storage capacity across all the instances associated with your account. Subscription allocation counts according to active users View the total number of active users in a product subscription. Only active users count toward the subscription allocation totals that appear throughout Subscription Management. Allocate subscriptions to all recommended groups Select all recommended groups when allocating subscriptions. Recommended subscription reasoning Determine why a subscription is recommended by Subscription Management when mapping custom tables or custom applications.

Auditing App Engine V1 usage The App Engine Usage dashboard has been restored. Changes to Now Assist usage measurement Now Assist usage measurement is evolving. If your instances are below Yokohama Patch 12, update Subscription Management to version 6.0.2 or later on all instances to avoid mixed measurement types. For more information, see Now Assist Usage - Overview & New Measurement Logic [KB2704710]. Hidden user-based subscription allocations To help prevent inaccuracy when allocations aren't complete, allocation details for user-based subscriptions are now hidden from the Subscription Management overview. Contact your account executive for user-based subscription allocation details.
Zurich	Assist usage excludes demo data Demonstration instances are excluded from the total Assist usage count to improve tracking of Assist consumption. Changes to Now Assist usage measurement Now Assist usage measurement is evolving. If your instances are below Zurich Patch 6, update Subscription Management to version 6.0.2 or later on all instances to avoid mixed measurement states. Hidden user-based subscription allocations To help prevent inaccuracy when allocations aren't complete, allocation details for user-based subscriptions are now hidden from the Subscription Management overview. Contact your account executive for user-based subscription allocation details.
Australia	Now Assist usage excludes demo data Demonstration instances are excluded from the total Now Assist usage count to improve tracking of Assist consumption. The accrual time field displays when Now Assist data was last accrued. Changes to Now Assist usage measurement Now Assist usage measurement is evolving. Update Subscription Management to version 6.1 or later on all instances to avoid mixed measurement states. Streamlined user-based subscription allocation To simplify the Subscription Management experience, the manual allocation workflow for user-based subscriptions has been removed for administrators who have never used it. Administrators who have manually allocated user-based subscriptions before can still make manual allocations. Hidden user-based subscription allocations To help prevent inaccuracy when allocations aren't complete, allocation details for user-based subscriptions are now hidden from the Subscription Management overview. Contact your account executive for user-based subscription allocation details.
