Key Features
- Configurable Info Tab: Administrators can now customize the Info tab on solution pages by showing or hiding various sections, similar to customization options available for Plan, Build, and Run tabs. This enhances the user experience by tailoring displayed information.
- Enterprise Service Portfolios with Templates: DPM users with the dpmadmin role can create and edit enterprise portfolios directly within DPM. Portfolios are structured in a nested tree format to simplify navigation of service-related items and taxonomy nodes. Three portfolio templates are provided—"EDUCAUSE," "IT Service Portfolio," and "Sample Organization Structure"—to accelerate portfolio creation. Users can also view key performance metrics for portfolio assessment.
- Scheduled Email Reports for KPI Metrics: Administrators can activate a feature to send periodic email reports containing key performance indicator (KPI) data to solution owners. This feature is off by default and configurable via the new 'Email properties' section in the DPM Admin Center. Scheduled jobs send KPI data only for top-level owned objects, ensuring relevant insights without overloading recipients.
- Enhanced KPI Viewing and Portfolio Visibility Controls: Users can preview multiple KPI groups in the Enterprise Portfolio module. Administrators with the dpmadmin role can use an Active flag to control the visibility of portfolio and taxonomy branches. Enterprise portfolios can be set to Active or Inactive status, with managers only seeing active portfolios, improving portfolio management and user focus.
