Data Migrations from 3rd party into ServiceNow

I am not able to understand the concept of data migrations from other sources into ServiceNow. Can anyone help me getting this or share the relevant resource for better understanding.

To retrieve data into ServiceNow forms from third-party sources, there are multiple approaches available. You can use APIs or build integrations depending on the use case. Data can also be exchanged in formats like XML or Excel.

A common approach is to use transformation mapping (Transform Map) in ServiceNow, where data from external files (for example, Excel sheets) is imported and mapped into target tables.

Overall, the method depends on the integration requirements and the source system capabilities.

it all depends on which 3rd party you are bringing data from and of what type.

also depends on other system how they can connect, like SFTP, SOAP/REST
