Installing RaptorDB on prem

I am building out servers to install RaptorDB in an on premise install.  There is very little information available online about the configuration needed.  Can I generally use the MariaDB server configuration parameters (just the hardware portion) so I can give the infrastructure team some guidance before we get the actual bits to install?
