Not able to remove Record History tab in Configurable Workspace

When creating a record in a custom ui builder workspace I noticed the Record History tab seems to be there by default.

I haven't found a way to remove this. Looked in UI Builder under "Record Default" and found the component. Tried to delete it but there is no way to delete the actual tab(??)

have you tried to delete it from "Main Tab" config panel?
