Offline mode in Now Mobile App

I'm trying to configure offline mode in the Now mobile app, but can't find offline mode functionality in the app settings.

Shouldn't the offline mode be visible in the settings even if the offline plugin hasn't been installed yet?

Hello @Elvin_Salim,

In order to use offline mode in the Now mobile app, the offline plugin must be installed. If you can't find offline mode in the options, it's probably because the plugin isn't installed or active.

To enable offline mode:

1. Install the offline plugin (if not already installed):

Make sure the offline plugin for Now is installed on your instance. This plugin includes the necessary functionality for offline mode.

2. Enable offline mode:

Once the plugin is installed, offline mode should appear in the app's options. Look for a section or toggle labeled "Offline Mode" or "Offline Access".

3. Check permissions:

Ensure that your user account has the proper rights to access offline mode. Access to some features, including offline mode, may be restricted depending on user responsibilities and permissions.

4. Update the app:

Ensure that you are running the most recent version of the Now mobile app. Offline mode functionality may be introduced or changed in newer software versions.

5. Consult Documentation or Support.

If you've installed the plugin but still can't discover offline mode, consult Now's official instructions or contact their support team for help. They can offer customized advice based on your instance setup and app version.

Hello @VishaalRanS,

The offline mode plugin - "SG Offline support" activated, but offline mode option is still not in the settings in the app.

If the "SG Offline Support" plugin is activated but the offline mode option isn’t appearing in the Now mobile app settings, try checking with these steps one by one:

1. Verify Plugin Installation: Confirm that the plugin is properly installed and configured.
2. Check Version Compatibility: Ensure the plugin and app versions are compatible.
3. Review Documentation: Consult the plugin’s documentation for any specific setup steps.
4. Verify User Permissions: Ensure your user role has the necessary permissions.
5. Update App: Make sure the Now mobile app is updated to the latest version.
6. Restart App: Try logging out and back in, or restart the app.
7. Contact Support: If the issue persists, reach out to ServiceNow Support for assistance.

Hi.
I performed the procedure, but I still couldn't make this function appear on Now Mobile.
Does this option really exist on Now Mobile?
