Reference field showing reference table name

I have created two tables 1) Training Request 2) Training Task. When training request created one training task get attach to Training Request. In training task table one reference field name as 'Training Request' which is pointed to the Training Request table but when I select record on that field its showing reference table name in field.

Try removing the max length. Also could you please share screenshot of Requested For Dictionary?

Check if anything is filled in default value. It maybe causing the issue.
