child incidents are not changing the state to "awaiting change" when parent changed to awaiting change state.
the issue is coming only for :awaiting change" state, it is okay with the remaining states.
can someone please provide me the solution for this issue.

did you check if it's OOTB functionality?
If yes then did someone customize that?
If it's a custom solution then did you debug that?

The Activity log in the child incident form is updated with the resolution notes copied from the parent Incident. |

Child incidents must always be closed by the caller or by the system based on the auto-closure property. |
