Hi Community,
I am using ServiceNow Australia UI Builder. I need help allowing anonymous users to access specific pages in an existing Experience without login.
Requirement:
External quiz participants should open the Join Quiz and Participant Buzzer pages through a QR code. The host's Stopwatch Home page must remain protected and require login.
Existing pages:
Join Quiz: /join-quiz/{code}
Participant Buzzer: /participant-buzzer/{code}
Stopwatch Home: host controls
I configured Public audience on the Join Quiz page variant and created page-specific ACLs:
x.1892173.stopwatch-experience.join-quiz (ux_page, read, public role)
x.1892173.stopwatch-experience.join-quiz.* (ux_route, read, public role)
The existing now.stopwatch-experience.* route ACL requires canvas_user.
When I open the Join Quiz URL in an Incognito window, it redirects to the ServiceNow login page. I tested a separate public Experience, which opens without login.
My questions:
Can the existing canvas_user route ACL prevent anonymous access despite the page-specific public ACLs?
How can I allow public access only to Join Quiz and Participant Buzzer while keeping the host page protected?
Is a separate public Experience the recommended solution?
Thank you.
