UI Macros - Need to display hierarchical list in UI Builder Workspace list view

1. Can we accomplish display of hierarchical list in list page of a workspace?

2.  We tried creating a UI Macro for the platform view based on a ServiceNow KB article replicating the account hierarchy mechanism available in CSM. 
Even if we achieve it in the platform view, do UI Macros work in Workspace?
