Unable to remove members from group in ServiceNow Prod

Hi Team,

 

We have a user 'Jonathan Hodgins' who has the it_pps_admin role which should allow him to update group membership in SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management). He is able to add users to the group "project managers" fine, however, if he tries to remove a member from that group, nothing happens after saving the change. 

We tried to impersonate him in the Staging instance and repeated the same group membership removal steps and we experienced the same issue. we noticed that after I saved the group member removal change, We saw this message at the top "Job to add or remove role(s) from user(s) of group has been queued". (See attached screenshot.) Can you figure out what this message means and what needs to be done to allow Jonathan to remove users from groups that he manages?

 

We have done the below investigation :

Property : glide.ui.schedule_slushbucket_save_for_group_roles

System property Value is set to true default – if we set Value to false then it will work fine

 

But if the issue with property then why it is happening to only one user and is there any another way to figureout the issue?

You don't have to name the user specifically, and you should probably get the email off this post.
Otherwise you're opening your friend up to some unwanted spam as web-crawlers find this page and add his email to lists he never asked to be on.
