Hello All,
I am trying to request an instance for since last 2 days but the system shows that no isntances are availale and I need to join waitlist. Even after joining the waitlist, no instance is granted after 24 hours. What should I do now?

Don't worry; this is quite common these days.

Over the last few days, I have seen many community members experiencing delays when requesting a PDI. In some cases, the waiting time has been 6–7 days, even for lower ServiceNow versions.

For now, patience is the key, as PDI availability depends on overall demand and infrastructure capacity.

Hello @SomeshK ,

There is no technical workaround to obtain a PDI faster. PDIs are allocated by the ServiceNow Developer Program infrastructure based on availability.

The user must wait for an available instance or reclaim an existing inactive PDI if one exists.

Note: I have recently seen an increased number of community posts regarding PDI waitlists. This suggests the issue may be related to ServiceNow's infrastructure capacity or instance availability on their side. In such cases, users must wait until additional resources become available and an instance is assigned.

If my response helped mark as helpful  and accept the solution.

Hello @SomeshK ,

This is quite a common situation nowadays. I also received my Zurich PDI after almost one day. I would suggest waiting for some more time. If it's still not available, you can try requesting a lower version instead.

Hi @SomeshK

I will suggest you to wait for few days more.

If your Personal Developer Instance (PDI) is stuck on a waitlist, you have been impacted by the platform's capacity limits following a new release.

High demand and provisioning errors primarily now a days affecting the latest platform family versions (like the Australia release).

If you want you can log into the ServiceNow Developer Portal, release your current request, and request an older, more stable release version (such as Zurich)

Once your Zurich PDI is provisioned, you can safely upgrade it to the latest release via the instance dashboard. The upgrade typically takes 3 to 4 hours.

Note: These days many community members reported Lower version PDI provisioning is also taking time.

Please Accept the solution if it assisted you with your question & Mark this response as Helpful.
