Moving application files from Global to scoped application

Hi All,

We are in the move to publish our application in the App store.

But the application was created in Eureka version.

Currently we have moved the app from Eureka to Fuji but couldn't update the "Scope" field.

If the solution is to create a new Scoped application in Fuji and move the files into it.

how can we move the files from Global app to scoped app?

Thanks,

Priya

Hi David,

I tried to reach you thro mail, but couldnt get any reply. Hope you are busy:)

Thanks in Advance

Hi Priya and David.

I am currently in the same situation. I developed an application with a global scope but I now realized I want it scoped to an application, because from my understanding it can then be exportable to another instance, or uploaded to the SN store. And it looks like the way you do this is to Publish To Update Set, and then to export to an XML file.

David, in your post, you said "We do not support update sets on the store": I thought that would be the way to add an application to the store, via the publication to update set. Please advise.

Hi priya ,

i had same issue which u guys are facing in the global to scoping application ,whether we will move through the updates like publish the updates set .

would you please suggest me for this ..

Hi Mani,

The only way to reliably convert your global application to a scoped application is to recreate it in scope. Depending on how big your application is you might be able to automate something that with some scripting. What is the reason behind moving to a scoped app?

After create one application in global and how to transfer to appstore case .i have tried in all instance it is working for global ,but i have to know possibilities which way to transfer the global application into the appcase store .if any doc over the publishing to app case .

please let me know ..
