Here is a snapshot of the role of the SNUG Leader and Steering Committee Members:

  • Participate in planning calls to ensure events are aligned with the needs of the member community including dates, venues (for in-person events), and topics.
  • Help identify customer speakers.
  • For in-person events, assist in getting hosts, and venue locations.
  • Recruit/work with steering committee members to gather broader feedback on the needs of the group.
  • Emcee at meetings
  • Provide program feedback and ideas.
  • Promote online community involvement by posting questions and blogs to encourage an ongoing dialog with community members.
  • ** SNUG Leaders and Steering Committee Members must be ServiceNow customers – Partners are not allowed

The ServiceNow team manages:

  • Invitations and registrations
  • Meeting planning and coordination
  • Event support (in-person and virtual)
  • Venue and catering costs (in-person events)

The SNUG leadership team does not have to host events or arrange them in any way. They play the important role of helping us ensure that members get the most value from attending SNUG meetings and to keep the conversation going by participating in the online SNUG community.

SNUG Leaders play an elevated role within the community and receive special recognition at SNUG meetings, online, and at Knowledge.  If you are interested in being a SNUG Steering Committee member, please send an email to liv.loughlin@servicenow.com and tell us about your experience with ServiceNow and why you’re interested in being a new SNUG Steering Committee Member for the Arizona SNUG.
