Hello SNUG Members!
The SNUG Program has been growing! As many of you are aware, there are two types of SNUG groups – SNUG chapters (referred to as SNUGs), and SNUG Meetups. Each SNUG is geographically based, has its own on-line community, and meet in-person once a year. SNUG events are more formal and are run and managed by ServiceNow.
We created the Meetups because SNUG members have expressed interest in:
- Meeting more often in-person
- Creating a group in a different location
- Creating groups focused on a ServiceNow solution area or industry
SNUG Meetups are more informal and are run and managed by ServiceNow customers (lead by a Meetup Organizer) with program assistance from ServiceNow. Each SNUG Meetup has its own on-line community hosted by Meetup.com. Meetups allow ServiceNow customers to meet more frequently around topics with common interests and to facilitate additional opportunities to network and collaborate.
Any ServiceNow customer can start their own SNUG Meetup (partners are not permitted). If you are a ServiceNow customer and are interested in creating a new SNUG Meetup, please email me at SNUGs@servicenow.com or tracy.obrien@servicenow.com.
You can CLICK HERE to see the latest SNUG Program Guide and the SNUG Customer Participation Guide which provide overall program details and best practices associated with both types of SNUG events (U.S. and Canada).
For those of you who are developers or admins, we also have dedicated ServiceNow Developer Meetups! They're community-run events organized by developers for developers, ranging from technical deep dives to fun networking events. Developer Meetups are a a dedicated space for developers. You can find upcoming events here.
Again, if you are a ServiceNow customer and are interested in creating a new SNUG Meetup, please email me at SNUGs@servicenow.com or tracy.obrien@servicenow.com. You can also send me a private message on this community.
