Nomination forms are now live for 2023 Community MVPs and Rising Stars! With your participation, we can continue building a diverse, inclusive, vibrant, and global community. Please apply any day during our nomination window: now through December 31st.

Why apply for ServiceNow Community Rising Star?

risingstarnew.pngThe Rising Star Program is exclusive, fun, and inspiring. You are recognized for your participation in the program through global announcements, features in the community, virtual meetups with peers, involvement in ServiceNow events, and branded SWAG! Another perk of being a Rising Star is that you get exposure to a network of ServiceNow enthusiasts and community advocates who are shining along with you and growing their product expertise daily.

If you are looking to get more active in the community, this is your ideal destination. Simply, show an interest and commitment to being present on the community through discussions with others, helpful responses to questions, accepted solutions, presence at SNUGs, and other community contributions. Bonus if you put in the effort to share tips in your personal network.

We induct new members into the program bi-annually to ensure an opportunity is available to all. And if interested, this program is a steppingstone for MVP. Would you like to get recognized as a Rising Star? Apply here.

It's a little confusing: are we applying for ourselves or nominating someone else?  Both "nominate" and "apply" are used throughout the text.

Kilo Sage

Both is possible @Jim Coyne.
The possibilities are: "Either a fellow Community member can nominate another member, you can nominate yourself or the Community team can select you."
You can find that information here: https://www.servicenow.com/community/community-resources/rising-star-recognition-program/ta-p/231545...

I have a dashboard and i do not want that to be accessible to dashboard admin.

Is this possible? Pls suggest.

Tera Contributor

yes, select the dashboard_admin role in the 'Restrict to roles' field of that dashboard.

Hi. Please, How best can one nominate and also how best to download ones work?

Community Alums

I personally dont encourage the form for submitting nominations. The form for nominating someone else is too descriptive and we may or may not have any clue about the Nominee's overall exp, skills, certifications etc.

The form makes sense if someone is nominating himself but in my pov I would think twice submit a nomination for someone else if it asks too many details. It should ask only the nominee name, links and sources, profile URL etc.
