Autopopulate Assigned To Variable

Hi,

This requirement is for CMDB Form.

Requirement:

"Populate Assigned To variable on all CIs (mapped to Support Group)."

As of now, my customer has not shared any details for assigned to field. 

Can anyone guide how to achieve or what will be the best approach? Can this be done using BR?

If its the Managed By Group for the CI, it can be easily done in the CI Class Manager for the specific class.
