Can not manually enter config parameter in midserver related list

Hello Experts,

 

I am trying to insert a new record for MidServer config parameter - which is not available in the choice list .

 

But no way i can enter it , have entered that directly in midserver config.xml ...Restarted.

 

This new record does not reflect in midserver.

 

Anyone faced such issue and anyway to resolve this.

Hello @Nisha30 , Custom parameters that are not available in the standard choice list are ignored by the MID Server. If you need to include a custom parameter, please use MID Server properties by navigating to MID Server > Properties (Table: ecc_agent_property).
If you have only one MID Server, specify that MID Server during the property creation. Otherwise, leave this field empty if you have multiple MID Servers, which makes the property global.
