Hi,
We are planning our deployment for Discovery and Service Mapping, and I would like to get recommendations on the optimal MID Server system requirements and JVM memory settings to ensure stable performance.
Could you please share best practices, official KB articles, or documentation regarding:
Host RAM & CPU Requirements: Recommended host specifications (e.g., CPU cores, RAM) based on target sizes when running both Discovery and Service Mapping.
JVM Heap Sizing (wrapper.java.maxmemory): What is the recommended JVM memory allocation for heavy pattern execution and Service Mapping workloads?
Relevant Resources: Any official ServiceNow KB articles, Product Documentation links, or community blogs covering MID Server sizing and tuning.
Any insights or links to official guides would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Best Regards,
Juganta

Hi @jugantanaya ,
You can try understanding from the guided setup in the instance, that gives some idea.
These would be the links to docs for better understanding: MID Server system requirements • Xanadu ServiceNow AI Platform Capabilities • Docs | ServiceNow
Discovery resource utilization • Xanadu IT Operations Management • Docs | ServiceNow
Please Accept the solution if it assisted you with your question & Mark this response as Helpful.
Regards.
