Hi everyone! Sorry if this is a rather basic question, I've just had trouble finding an answer in any ServiceNow Documentation.
If I have a child CI Class with a "Derived" Identification Rule set and I "Replace" it, do the derived Identifier Entries no longer apply? I noticed that after replacing, the Derived Identification Rule set still appears below the new rules that I created.
I want to add an additional Identifier Entry on top of the existing Derived set, and I'd like to avoid re-creating all of the entries if possible.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hey Sebastian,
You'll see that when you clicked Replace and created your new rule on the child class the derived Identifier Entries do show up at the bottom. But they will go away when you add an Identifier Entry to your new Rule. Also those derived rules will no longer apply on the child class.
So I guess the only good way is to re-create those parent level Identifier Entries (which you now also have to maintain in future). I'm not a CMDB expert so let's see if there is a better way others know about.
