Meraki SGC: Controlling which devices are written to the CMDB

Good morning! We are in the process of setting up the Meraki Service Graph Connector and would like to ensure that only our Z4 networks & devices are written to our ServiceNow CMDB. As we only have one Meraki organization and do not wish to modify any data in the Meraki dashboard itself, we will have to do this on the ServiceNow side.

At a high level, our current plan for accomplishing this involves adding filter conditions to our ETL mappings in IntegrationHub where appropriate (e.g., to filter out non-Z4 networks) and disabling entirely those mappings which are specifically for other device classes or models (e.g., "Industrial Sensor 1"). This is, however, uncharted territory for us, so we wanted to check in here to a) make sure we haven't missed a better or less intrusive way to do this and b) gather feedback on the risks associated with this approach from other orgs which may have already gone down this path.

@BRYCEHOSSEI If you are trying not to get few classes at all, then this approach should work (tweaking the ETL mappings).

However, I would suggest to try with a small chunk of data/lower environment data. Also, would be getting all the classes from Meraki or only few? If whole class has to be ignored, then in ETL you can tweek the Class mapping step.
