Relevancy of SNPI Course for CIS-DF Exam

Planning to do my CIS-Data Foundations course within the next few weeks and in the suggested learning pathway the ServiceNow Platform Implementation course is mentioned right before the CMDB fundamentals course.

Since it's a pretty long course I want to know if it directly ties in to what will be given for the Data Foundations exam or not, so I can avoid it and start directly from the CMDB course as I'm crunching for time. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi @VisharaJ ,

Given your time constraints, you can start directly with CMDB. SNPI is an extended version of the CSA and as far as I know, you won't be getting questions on those topics.

However, I highly recommend completing the CMDB simulators end to end.

Hope this would help!

Hi @VisharaJ

It depends on whether you already have a basic foundation and understanding of the platform. If you do, you can skip it. However, if you are completely new to ServiceNow, I would recommend taking this course first, as it will give you the proper foundation. Alternatively, you can start with the Data Foundation course, which is also available on Now Learning.
