Retirement policy is generating 2 approval tasks for each user in the approval group

I have a retirement policy set up via CMDB Workspace Data Manager and assigned to a specific user group. This policy is generating 2 approvals for each member in the group and i cannot figure out why this is happening. Does anyone have an idea?

Then I don't think I have a good answer for why that is happening. It may be due to the way approvals work in your instance rather than something related to the policy.

 

There are often issues with approval duplicates from what I can see in the forum.

Sorry, its not clear from the screen shot you posted, but are you talking about this?

If so, all the users in the group will get an approval task.
