Staleness metric

Hello All,

 

I need to exclude the CIs that have the install status set to "Pending retire" from CMDB health dashboard specifically from the staleness metric. Currently the CIs with the status Pending retire are also included in the dashboard. What is the right way to do this?

Hi Mahesh,

 

You can define "Health Inclusion Rules" in the CI Class manager. For example you could create an inclusion rule for staleness, that states "Life Cycly Stage Status is not Pending Retirement":

As an additional note to this for @maheshvishw , be sure to check if the state of "retired" is also already included in your stale metric. We found that it was by default for ours.
