Tracking Monthly CMDB Health Trends Using Performance Analytics

Hello Community,

We currently use the CMDB Health Dashboard available in CMDB Workspace, which provides a good view of the current health status of our CMDB.

However, we have a requirement to capture CMDB Health results on a monthly basis (for example, at the end of each month) so that we can maintain a historical record and visualize the evolution of CMDB Health over time.

Example

For all CIs:

• September 1: Completeness 45%, Correctness 80%, Compliance 95%
• October 1: Completeness 55%, Correctness 85%, Compliance 95%
• November 1: Completeness 35%, Correctness 90%, Compliance 98%

The goal is to display these trends in a data visualization so that we can track improvements or declines in CMDB Health over time. PFA example charts.

In addition, I would like to capture and trend these health scores at different levels, such as:

• Overall CMDB Health
• CI Class (e.g., Business Applications, Hardware, Servers, etc.)
• Health Groups

I am trying to achieve this using Performance Analytics Indicators and Data Visualizations, but so far, I have not found a way to collect and trend the CMDB Health scores historically.
FYI, we are not using core Ui (legacy) reporting in our instance, instead we have migrated to Platform Analytics.

Has anyone implemented a similar solution? If so, could you please share your approach, recommended tables, indicator sources, or any best practices?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
