How to sort or group by a column in a scheduled report

I created a scheduled report but it is not working the way I envision. Here are the details.

The type: Excel

Data: Table is incident

Type: It is a list. I wish to also to have the Bar chart along with it.

I configured the report to group by the Assigned To Field.

 

When I schedule the report, I receive the Excel file but it is not grouped by the Assigned to. I also wish to have an image of the bar chart counting the Assigned to within the body of the email. How can I do this?

Hi @willdkim ,

 

 

but this cannot be achieved directly via excel in ServiceNow.

you can try below this way to achieve this 

Create report of the type Bar then in configuration section of the report select 'Display Data Table' to true

then Run the Schedule and type as PDF.

 

You will get the email with details information something like this
