Hello,
On the last module within the ServiceNow CSA Fundamentals course - I was nearly complete when my instance crashed and received a 504 error. Using the chat interface, I asked to "check" the instance, and it said I had no instance available, even though it had 2 days remaining. It RESET my instance, and now hours of work are gone.
ServiceNow support has been 0 help - I need to know if there's a resource that has the in-class instance files available to import into my instance so I don't lose it again. They claim they cannot restore the instance even though it was there and THEY terminated it. Is there anything I can do here?
Also, does anyone know if the capstone project requires us to upload the data from the course instance into the PDI? I refuse to do the work again knowing ServiceNow destroyed my instance. I don't know if I can get it back at all if I did the work again. It could crash again if I did it all and I cannot trust it will stay anymore.
If anyone has anything they can provide me I would be appreciate it greatly.
PS - Do not use the automatic chat interface in your lesson... lesson learned. It's horrible and it broke my instance.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience here, but based on what you said, unfortunately there is a way to get your old instance back with all its contents.

I appreciate it. Sad to hear though. I don't feel confident doing the work again if it can just get lost again.
Do you at least know if the capstone project requires the course instance data? It looks like the capstone project has data imported from the lab course instance and I'd really like to not have to do it again when SNOW can just cancel my service at whim and claim it was me.

Yes it requires data which by default is not on a Personal Developer Instance (PDI), and specific to course instances setup for the specific course. Though like I mentioned, since you mentioning a course and a course instance, reach out to Now Learning.
