Rule from scratch.
C. Test your Business Rules
1. Navigate to Incident > Create New.
2. Create a new Incident, enter “wi-fi is down” or something similar in the Short
description field and populate the mandatory fields with values of your choice.
3. Select Submit.
4. Repeat steps 1 and 2, populate the mandatory fields with values of your
choice, but enter “laptop needs more memory” or something similar in the
Short description field.
5. Select Submit.
6. Select Problem – Open from your Favorites list.
27
7. Verify that problems for both Incidents appear in the Problem list.
D. Inactivate your Business Rules
1. Select your Business Rules favorite.
2. Locate the Sim Task #6 and #6A - Business Rules.
3. Double-click the Active column, select false, and Save your selection for each
Business Rule.
Note: If you hold down the shift key after selecting the first row, you can
also select the second row and update both records. However, this
process may take a little practice to get used to.
4. Navigate to your course window, or tab, and validate your Sim Task.
