Hi,
Lab instances for courses are accessible for a limited amount of time and there are a limited number of instances you can utilize for a given course. Is it recommended to use your PDI to retake a course if you run out of Lab Instances? The course I am thinking about is the Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals On Demand, but I have this question for all of the courses.
Thank you!

Hi @britolliver ,
You can try to open a case from now learning portal and ask for more instance (provide course details). They might provide you some instance.
You can use your pdi for labs. However for some courses there are lab files that are attached to kb article, which you can’t access if you have lost all instance.
Also there is extension of each instance which you can use.
Please mark my response as “accept as solution” and mark helpful if applicable.
regards,
Rohit

Hello @britolliver
Practicing on PDI is best anytime but if you are trying any course from now learning portal then those lab instances provided has plugin already activated and also required data to complete course.
If my response has helped you hit helpful button and if your concern is solved do mark my response as correct.
Thanks & Regards

Hi @britolliver ,
There is no specific recommendation that you should only use the Lab instance. If you are asking whether you can complete the lab activities using your PDI, the answer is yes, you can. However, completing activities with the PDI might not mark them as complete in the course. Since you are retaking the course, you can use your PDI for practice.
Please mark my answer as helpful/correct if it resolves your query.

Chaitanya
