Variables on the Report Request catalog are not populating to the task

When submitting a ticket the task from the ticket only shows the Requested for in the variable section when it should be pulling in the variables that are assigned to the Catalog Task via the workflow. 

what configuration am I missing here?

You mean the variables are not visible in catalog task even though you selected to the variables in sluchbucket?
