Whether you are a customer or a partner - this article is intended to be a guide to help you understand what "Pre-Configured" options come with the quick start CBS Now Assist for Setup, so you know exactly where you are starting from.
The "Pre-Configured" Options are indicated by the wand icon in the Product Console Page. It can be seen below next to Intake forms and notifications in each CBS category:

Now Assist for Setup provides a streamlined CBS install experience with 14 available pre-configured categories with 139 configurations to help expedite the implementation experience and provide best practice guidance across all business areas (HR, Workplace, Health & Safety, Finance, Source-to-Pay and Legal Service Management).
Requester Experience
2 Available pre-configuration categories:
- Employee Center – this includes 3 specific items pre-configured:
- Taxonomy: Core Business Suite Employee
This taxonomy includes child topics of whatever CBS applications have been installed automatically. - Advanced Portal Navigation: Core Business Suite Navigation – Default
This contains the new left hand nav with Home, Help Center, and Org Chart. - Employee Center Page: Core Business Suite Homepage (cbs_homepage)
CBS Foundation Portal
- Taxonomy: Core Business Suite Employee
- Requestor Role – this includes 1 pre-configuration:
- All users are granted requestor role to be able to view and submit questions from the EC
Human Resources
