After committ the update set I cant see the changes made

I made the connection between prod and dev, even after retrieving and commit the updates. i still cant see the changes made by another instance. help me with it as the update is not being shown in my instance.

So it means the changes are not moved properly.
Did you check the update set got committed properly and the changes were captured in correct update set?

This may be caused by multiple of reasons, check with the below to identify the issue. Please also provide more information about your specific case so we can help you better.
- Review the "Preview Problems" section — if any changes were skipped or flagged due to conflicts, they won’t be applied during commit. This is often caused by duplicate or outdated records already existing in the target instance.
- Verify Timestamps: ServiceNow uses the "Updated on" timestamp to determine which version of a record is newer. If the same record already exists in the target instance and has a more recent timestamp than the one in your update set, ServiceNow will skip applying the update to avoid overwriting newer changes.
