PDI dev283242 stuck on "Unscheduled Maintenance" for 10 days.

Hi everyone. My PDI (dev283242) has been entirely inaccessible for the last 10 days. The banner says it is undergoing unscheduled maintenance, but the status indicator is stuck on "Activating Plugin...". The refresh button does nothing. Has anyone found a workaround for this specific hang, or is releasing the instance my only option? I need this Instance. I had a lot of work here. Please help.

Hi @jagdis87

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. Try to click on refresh and if stil not
  4. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

Thank you so much for the help. I tried, but it seems like I have no other option than to wait for a miracle. Much appreciated.

Hi @jagdis87 ,

short - there is no support for PDIs, hence either wait or release… that is your only options.

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Hi @jagdis87,

when this happened to me, i accessed my PDI with /login.do and I was able to log in despite the ongoing maintenance... :))

Try to navigate to dev283242.service-now.com/login.do and log in, but you must know credentials to access it, accessing your PDI from "Start building" button is unavailable...

If you know the password and you are able to access it, you can backup your stuff (XML, update set or source countrol) and if everything is saved then you can release that instance, request a new one and move back the backup files.
